Harvest Dance; Saturday, November 21, 2009, 6:30-9:00PM; caller: Susan Petrick; music: Train Wreck; Children's Museum of Northern Nevada, 813 N Carson St, Carson City; regular pricing
This will be a pie dance! Get together with others and bring a pie, about one piece per person, or ice cream for pie a-la-mode. The pie must be store bought, due to health regulations, sorry. We will provide plates, forks, spoons, napkins, knives, and pie servers, though you can also bring your own. We have a freezer for ice cream and a refrigerator for pies that need it, but no way to heat up pies. For health regulations, we must discard anything that has been opened, so please don't bring too much.
Susan Petrick is a caller who got her start in Reno but is now famous all over the United States as a pricise but relaxed caller. She will have you doing dances you thought too hard, and be successful at them. We particularly invite all our Sierra Contra Dance Society friends to come down and join us.
