The Sierra Nevada Amateur Radio Society (SNARS) sponsors the Reno Ham Swap on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Tamarack Junction Casino parking lot, 13101 South Virginia Street.
Set up is at 7 a.m. and the Ham Swap starts at 7:30 a.m. You can rent a $10 space to display your ham radio gear online at www.renohamswap.com.
The Reno Ham Swap is open to the public. There will be raffle prizes and you can take your ham radio exam at 9 a.m. for a $15 fee. Proceeds from the swap go to the SNARS Repeater Fund which provides support to maintaining and building the repeater systems in Northwestern Nevada and Eastern California areas.
