RENO — Junior Valladares says he learned a lesson about intensity on Friday during the 15th annual Reno Tournament of Champions.
The bad news is that the Carson High senior 171-pounder lost a match in the process. The good news is that he used the lesson to bounce back and advance to the second day of the tournament on Saturday at the Reno Downtown Convention Center. And that's saying something for an 86-team event billed as the "Toughest Tournament in the USA."
