Reader mail: Unhappy with school uniform decision

From a reader and local businessman:

The Carson School District, Carson Middle and Eagle Valley Middle School have decided NOT have any local Carson City business do any of the required uniforms for next year. Instead, they will be done by a company in Reno!

But, if you would like a blank uniform, they hey, you can support Walmart. All the schools in Carson City are wanting the parents and business to support them ... but they will continue to support RENO by sending out money, our tax dollars, to Reno.

So, if you would like to keep you tax dollars local, 1) Call your schools and the school district and tell them you don't want to support Reno, you want a local option.
