It’s now official: Systems Consultants, the private computer firm in Fallon that conducts the annual computerized drawings for Nevada’s big game hunting tags, has posted the results of the 2012 drawings at Internet website www.huntnevada.com for the whole world to see.
There were a whole bunch of winners and a heck of a lot more losers in this year’s drawings for tags for Pronghorn Antelope, Mule Deer, Rocky Mt. Elk, California Bighorn Sheep, Desert Bighorn Sheep, Rocky Mt. Bighorn Sheep and Rocky Mt. Goat.
As I have done for a number of years, I randomly selected some of the lucky folks who are going hunting this year and also some of the unlucky souls who are staying home and not going hunting.
So, for starters, based on my selections, here’s at least one lucky 2012 big game hunter for each letter of the alphabet from “A” to “Z” and some of those hunters drew more than one tag!
