Senators prep for championship meets

Now that all of the preliminaries are out of the way, the Carson High swimming and diving team is ready to focus on the final three weeks of its season -- the High Desert League, Northern 4A Regional and NIAA state championship meets.
Carson hosted league rival Reno during a double dual meet at the Carson City Aquatic Facility on Saturday in what amounted to a final tune-up before the postseason. Carson outscored Reno 155-126 in the boys division and 154-107 in the girls division during the swimming portion (diving results were not immediately available).
