1st Annual Solstice Night Bike Ride rolls across downtown Carson CIty, Friday night. Blinky Man, inspired by the annual Earth Day night ride in Las Vegas, Nv, Blinking Man , will light the streets, begining at Proctor st. and Plaza st., with 6:30pm meetup and a 7:30pm start.
The power of social media, by tapping into local bicycle groups and coalitions, art, music, and cultural interest groups, along with popularity of Burning Man, has created an anxious and under the radar buzz. Much interest for this fun and unique event has posted and relayed back from Carson City and Reno, Tahoe and Sacramento. Riders on their decorated bikes, with lights, will enjoy 'Tasty Stops' along the way.
