Carson rolls out a 48-13 win

RENO – The Carson High football team is now beginning to reach territory it hasn't been in for a while – with still a lot more to accomplish.

Carson rolled to a 48-13 win at Damonte Ranch to improve to 5-2, the first time a Senator team has reached that mark since 1998. "I can't remember the last time I was on a 5-2 team, period," CHS linebacker Luke Carter, who almost returned an interception for a touchdown.
Carson also improved to 3-1 in the Sierra League, taking a huge step to earning a berth in the Northern 4A playoffs. But while CHS coach Blair Roman is proud of what his team has done, he knows there's work ahead.
