A Carson City woman was jailed Saturday morning after she allegedly stabbed a man in the back of the neck while he was showering, a Carson City Sheriff's Office deputy said.
Pamela Joslin, 44, was arrested in Carson City after a nearly two-hour search by law officers. She faces a felony charge of battery with a deadly weapon and is being held in Carson City Jail on $30,000 bail. The victim was taken to Renown Medical Center in Reno with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies were called to the 700 block of College Parkway at 7:19 a.m. after dispatch reported a woman had stabbed the man and fled the scene.
The man told deputies he had been showering when the woman walked in and plunged a knife into the back of his neck and then left, according to a Carson City sheriff's office deputy.
The victim, who was taken to Renown Medical Center in Reno, had attempted to track down the woman, telling officers he had followed her to College Parkway and North Ormsby Boulevard before losing her. Officers searched the home of the victim and saw blood in the doorway and on handles, and missing knives from a cutlery set.
Officers made a perimeter of the area and found Joslin at around 10 a.m., where she was taken into custody and booked for battery with a deadly weapon. No other details were available.
